FALEI ZHENG
Falei Zheng, who is born in 1947, gets his doctor’s degree of kidney disease in 1988. He has published more than 260 papers since 1980 and edits two monographs about kidney disease. He specializes in the early prevention of the metabolism of chronic kidney failure, the research of medical renal toxicity, tubulointerstitial disease and the metabolism of electrolyte. He is the first one who finds the kidney tubules acidism type IV and acute nephritis together with hemorrhagic interstitial pneumonia in China. He is also the first one who treats the chronic kidney failure by adopting the essential amino-acid and ketonic acid in China. Through such kind of treatment, he has a clear idea how the improvement of protein and amino-acid metabolic disorders postpones the kidney failure.
